The HR department manages recruiting, onboarding, employee documentation and resources, company compliance at the state and federal levels, employee benefits, employee payroll, and employee wellness and development programs.
By utilizing an HR department, teams are able to focus on the patients instead of worrying about how to fit interviewing into their schedule or finding time to update the handbook with a new policy. Our department ensures that the company and its employees are protected, respected, and kept up to date with ever changing industry standards. We partner with onsite leadership to ensure the proper steps are taken for coaching new and tenured employees, even how to handle those difficult conversations or terminations. We also work closely with employee surveys to better understand the culture of our practices and the organization to effectively address concerns, celebrate successes, and recognize our amazing team members.
While patients are not directly impacted by the HR Department, we do create an environment where our admin and clinical teams can focus their efforts and attention on the patient instead of menial but necessary tasks. By processing employment verifications, the office manager now has more time to develop their team on building trust with patients. Through the team’s involvement in the recruiting and onboarding processes, new hires are trained at a much higher level to support excellent patient care.
